Compare salaries across Europe

Same gross salary, different country โ€” how much lands in your account, what it buys, and when it makes you a millionaire. Every comparison runs both countries through real, sourced 2026 tax engines. Pick your pair:

๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น Italy vs ๐Ÿ‡ฉ๐Ÿ‡ช Germany

One input, two real 2026 tax engines โ€” IRPEF, INPS and the impatriate regime on one side; ยง32a income tax, four social insurances and the Soli on the other.

More pairs in the works

Netherlands (30% ruling), Spain (Beckham law) and Luxembourg engines are next โ€” each pair ships once its tax data is verified against official sources. No guessed numbers, ever.

How we compare fairly

Each country runs through its own tested engine โ€” the same ones behind our single-country calculators โ€” with sources and "last verified" dates on every parameter. Net pay is then adjusted with Eurostat's official price level indices (2024, EU27=100: Italy 97.5, Germany 108.6, Netherlands 116, Luxembourg 132.8) to show purchasing power, not just euros. City-level differences and in-kind benefits (pension entitlements, healthcare quality) still matter beyond what any calculator captures.
